On this episode we have Devon Loerop, an Engineer by weekday and a one-man building, designing, media machine by weekend.

After college in the midwest, he packed up his life and headed for the mountains on the West coast. With a passion for film and photography, Devon worked at developing a media business and stashed away that money with plans to invest in something bigger. After finding some inspiration on social media he figured his background in welding and engineering were a great fit to take on a container home project.

Understanding the power of social media, he started sharing his story and project from the very beginning. 775k followers took notice and 2 years later after many ups and downs, hurdles and plent of dollars he’s finally able to open the doors to share his project “The Bin” with those looking for a PNW escape.

He shares with us some of his high and low moments throughout the project, a ton of insight on the value of The Bin’s social following and how he achieved it, and his future projects that may or may not have a major TV network involved!
